Last week, Swiss airline cancelled a flight to Beirut in mid-air due to security concerns, yet confirmed they are keeping their flights to Beirut while monitoring the situation very closely. Unfortunately, the Iran-Israel retaliations that followed caused Swiss airline and Lufthansa to suspend all flights to Beirut until end of April. It's not clear if they will extend the suspension beyond April, but there are no signs of things cooling down between Israel & Hamas…

Lebanese-Canadian writer and actor Wajdi Mouawad was hosting the world premiere of his latest play "Wedding Day at the Cromagnons" at the Monnot Theater in Beirut, however the play was cancelled after activists lodged a complaint against Mouawad with the Military Prosecutor's Office. Pascal Sleiman, a Lebanese Forces party member and the coordinator for the Jbeil area, was found killed in Syria yesterday evening after being kidnapped at gunpoint on Sunday.
