Well, he wasn’t fined after all.
haha, its so lebanese of him.
i almost have done the same when they took my deodorant and facial soap from me.
I was leaving from beirut-doha-bankok-phuket but only in phuket had they checked my liquid containers and informed me that its not allowed to carry any container with more than 200ml.
It was my first time to travel (thats why i didnt know about this rule), and i learned my lesson the hard way.
He cracked my up when he said he’s throw them in his wife’s face
LOL. Lebanese people do NOT like to be accused of anything.
They should’ve fined him for throwing the bag on the floor at the end.
But anyway for people who like this kind of thing, they air this on the discovery channel every monday at 18h10 beirut time. The show is called “Border Security”. It’s a pretty good show and really short it’s like 20 minutes long.
At least they didn’t confiscate the arak baladi …
did he swear at his wife in 3:52??????? besides, they should have arrested him after throwing the bags at his wife, isn’t that considered agression in australia????
yes :P
2anno ma32oul rassa bta3ti el bzourat?? :P :P
i love how he blames her parents
What I feel ashamed about is that he seemed to have the citizenship and couldn’t speak English properly. Reflects very badly on the Lebanese community. Heard that there are 2 places where you shouldn’t advertise the fact you are Lebanese: Australia and Germany. Work hard and shut up is the only way up. Otherwise, stay in Lebanon so you can contribute to the below standard we are accustomed to there…
Nothing wrong with being Leb in Australia. My aunt’s been here more than 20 years and can’t speak English – because there’s 30 000 Lebs all living in the same suburbs and she’s never had to.
I think this guy was trying to cover up his embarrassment at being too old to read the fine print. White Aussies are the same.
Oh, and that was NOT going nuts compared to some other Lebs I have seen on Border Security.
The best one was where they busted this guy with a suitcase full of zaatar, and he starts screaming at them, “WHAT I AM GONNA HAVE FOR MY BREAKFAST??”
See if you can find that one on YouTube :D
found it!
tab share :P
i already posted it, check it here http://blogbaladi.com/admin/food/zaatar-is-of-spiritual-significance-to-us/
