Beirut Marathon 2011
The ninth edition of the Beirut Marathon will take place tomorrow with over 30,000 runners registered. This year’s slogan is “Take it to the street” and you can listen in the YouTube video embedded above to Beirut Marathon’s official song by Guy Manoukian.

Hijacking Beirut’s streets, and charging 80$ per ticket sounds like a great business plan to me!
I wonder which politician is backing May El Khalil to allow this
are you serious? even if the republic of palau is backing this we should all be proud of the reputation that Beirut Marathon has!!
or would you rather people with burning tires hijacking the roads instead? without any income (regardless who is profiting)

It was a great event.
And in most cases its the companies that paid for their employees registrations.
