I saw a similar picture and teh tag line says: “We were more developed 75 years ago” which is sadly true !
I used to take it before the war from Hamra to get halfway to St. Joseph and then hop on a bus. It was lots of fun… Ya hasra!
I love old pictures of Beirut :)
If you think about it, we were more advanced at this time! We had a tramway that was used by everybody!!
Not like our actual public transport!
