Following up on Najib’s post, this is a pic of the bridge.
In my opinion, the head of the municipality who authorized this should be penalized and the bridge should reopen immediately.

The decision to close a key bridge for a s0-called fashion show is “public” administration at its worst. There’s no dearth of similar behaviors in the country. No wonder, Lebanon was ranked 34th among 60 “failed states” by an annual study published in the United States, an improvement from last year. It was 29th in the 2009 Failed States index, which is published annually by Foreign Policy magazine and the Fund for Peace, both based in Washington.
