So Unfair!

I passed through a very funny experience yesterday which is part of the procedure of buying a car in lebanon. It’s been quite some time since I’ve been looking to buy a car and finally I found my FJ in one of the expos in Antelias. But this is not it…My journey just began…
After going to the bank and doing the whole procedure, i still had to register my car bel nef3a and fix the small details and since i am not the only customer because my supplier had too many cars to pick up and sell, part of my contribution was to help him pick up cars from one place to another until i get mine in one of the garages. After he picked me up from work (Sin el Fil), we went in a new Range Rover to AL Nab3a to pick up a new mini cooper and there I WAS SHocked…..the pictures are self explanatory (p.s:I got so scared driving these cars in such places especially after seeing around 10 kids running after us).

I don’t get it why you have to do all this with the salesman. He should register the car and do all the papers. I never did anything like that when buying my last two cars.
well najib, what do u expect??? fancy buildings everywhere??? come to tripoli and u will be even more schocked, or even battroun, or even the south
it is truly unfair :(:(
lebanon = 10452 km2 not downtown and some parts of beirut
anyway mabrouk the car:)
ohh you poor thing
Karim,
What do fancy buildings have to do with what i said ?
Whomever is selling me a used car should be going to pick it up and register it and do all the papers not me.
I can’t see anything shocking in the pictures…
well i see ur point Mark..maybe the pictures dont really express what i saw during this experience. The street is very scary especially when you see that all the kids of the neighborhood are beggars and the street is 2 meters wide and two ways with cars parking on both sides. Everything was dirty and polluted!! I really couldn’t take more pictures because we would look very suspicious. Anyway, you should pass by when you come to leb:)
and Najib, btw, I was kinda helping the salesman that day in order to speed up the procedure of my car…it was complicated :)
