Blogger sued over restaurant review
Mark from 248am.com is being sued by Benihana restaurant in Kuwait for having reported a bad experience he had at their restaurant.

Let’s show our support for Mark who also blogs here and is one of the most prominent bloggers in Kuwait.
I always thought I would get sued or harassed first but it seems restaurants in Lebanon react more positively to critics.

i think benihana just gave themselves a minus for not taking criticism well.
Wow! This is ridiculous! Imagine getting sued for a bad restaurant review. My review of Classic Burger was really not the best and I described it as “Overrated” and you know what they did? They put it up on their website!
Benihana is just being a sour puss, and they need to stop taking things so personally!
Let’s support Mark, he speaks for all bloggers.

All bloggers should unite so Benihana Kuwait can drop their stupid lawsuit against Mark!If Benihana wins, it would mean every review from now on needs to be candy coated (which sucks) – then we might still be sued for being overly saccharine or sarcastic!

they put it so far that they want Mark to be forced to close his website! are they serious? Mark review is wayyyy less offending than what they are doing to their own brand. Benihana is quite dead in Kuwait from now on.
