Crepaway-Mzaar robbed!

I heard on the radio this morning that unknown individuals broke into Crepaway-Mzaar and stole 30 million liras (Almost 20,000$). What surprised me when reading this piece of news is that this specific Crepaway branch is located inside the Mzaar intercontinental facing the hotel’s entrance and is almost impossible to steal.

Whomever did this knew his/her way around the hotel or maybe works in it or in Crepaway.

  1. Crepaway kaslik was robbed too, and they unlocked the safe and took everything. They even hit the security man and tied him while robbing the restaurant.
I didnt hear about it except from my friend whose father is the security guard there.
They suspected also someone from inside the restaurant to have committed this.

if the robbery happened today then i’m sure it’s someone from inside because usually restaurants deposit their money daily in the bank but banks are closed on sunday so the money of saturday and sunday are accumulated.

something doesn’t sound right…why would there be so much cash left there??

restaurants make this amount usually and as i mentioned in my earlier comment, on Sunday the banks are closed and they can’t deposit their previous day earnings so this amount can be a 2 days earnings!

Gilbert, is it you that stole the money? it seems you know the money schedule.

In recent months, the number of syrian workers in faraya has grown exponentially. I wonder if it is linked.

      hahaha yeah i might!
actually Jad i’ve worked as a manager in a competitor restaurant and i know the standards and the detailed procedures. there must be a safe inside the restaurant which is hard to find and open usually unless someone from inside has given any info, anyway it can can also be related to what u’ve said.
