It’s sadly true. Though, i don’t like how everybody keep referring to Beirut when they want to give an example on any negative subject..
someone needs to give jad aoun a call
The only issue I see here is the fact that Letterman’s got it backwards . . . he should have said, if you can drive in Beirut you can drive anywhere.
Yup that’s what I thought. He made NY look worse than Beirut. Plus the street he filmed is not a main one. I wonder where they got this footage from.
i think they got the footage from the documentary “the lebanon i dream of”, i remember seeing it at the very begining of the documentary.
oooppps i’m sorry, the on in the documentary is shot in burj el ghazal…
omg that’s embarrassing bas sadly true :(
that part they showed about Beirut… he thinks THAT’s crazy? :P
Maybe we should film the Mkalles Roundabout and send him what happens there.
Do you guys not realize that the clip of Lebanese driving was never aired by Letterman? It was edited in by whoever posted the video link above.
The actual Letterman-Bieber interview can be seen (in it’s entirety) at the following link . . .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AldMYlMPBYc
the driving part starts at 6:23
You know this is the first thing I asked the friend who passed me the link so I did not bother look for the whole interview.
He still mentioned Beirut though so that’s ok :-)
Thanks for the correction.
