The Queen gas station

Women pumping gas might seem like a strange sight in Lebanon, but that could change with the Queen, the first and only gas station in the country run and operated by a group of women. Queen, “a gas station with a feminine sensation” as it labels itself, was opened with the idea of giving women the opportunity to work in a traditionally men’s job. [Link]

I am not sure if they got inspired from the post I had written back in April 2011 about opening a women car wash in Lebanon but those are not the women I had in mind. Also, if you read the whole article, you will notice there are men working at the station, which pretty much goes against the original idea.

I am not implying I need to see hot women to wash my car there. On the contrary, the initiative is very nice and I totally support it but when I was thinking about the women car wash, I was thinking top models and women in bikinis lol.

Haha. You just contradicted yourself. “I am not implying I need to see hot women to wash my car” but “I was thinking top models and women in bikinis”

I think that kind of car was would be very successful

      K,
In my earlier post back in April my idea was to employ top models and come up with a cool women car wash. All I am saying is that I dont mind women washing my car at all, even if they are not hot models, but that’s not what I was thinking of when I suggested the idea.

Najib I guess you were salivating in having “Hooters” girls “washing” the cars…or rather lathering themselves on it. :P

      Gianni,
Aren’t those businesses a huge success in the states?

They are called eye candies….and you are correct that they are huge successes. I try to drop in by the Hooters casino every time I am in Vegas. just got back actually.
