WTF Optikos?

Am I missing something? Why is there a dog wearing sunglasses in this Valentine ad?

    Dogs represent loyalty… Couples should be loyal to each other just like dogs :)) I like this ad:)

    What on earth does “be loyal to your eyes” mean? English-speaking copywriters in Lebanon have the easiest job in advertising…no English language skills needed.

    I stared at this Ad around 10 min trying hard to understand it! I wish the creative director behind this Ad join us for the discussion and clarification. Did they use the dog because there is an Os (French word for bone); if they wanted to showcase loyalty, the storks birds are very faithful couples to each other’s!
    As for the copy, I feel that the sentence “stay loyal to your eyes” could refer to the Lebanese saying “el nazar ma byen7ajab”, so go get a sun glasses from OptikOs, cover your eyes and look to whomever you want hehehehe. In short, the Ad is crap.
