New Guinness Record for Lebanon?

Sarkis Mansour is putting the final touches to an encyclopedia he has been writing for 44 years now. He has been collecting pictures and documents since 1967.

I am not still sure what record he wants to break, the oldest hand-written encyclopedia? Is there such a thing? [Link]

    He was working for the government when he started the project. Clearly, they were not very busy.
