The news isn’t official yet, but I’ve already heard from two reliable sources that a local business has acquired the trademark for Costco in Lebanon. This doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll have a store opening anytime soon, but it’s definitely a step in that direction.
Costco operates as a membership-based warehouse club, selling goods in bulk at discounted prices. Its business model offers an unbeatable combination of large quantities, high quality, and low prices by leveraging bulk purchasing and a limited selection of products.
Whether this turns into a full-fledged store or something more limited is still unclear.
