I was invited to a friend’s birthday on Saturday and surprisingly the buffet had among its many desserts (Knefe, Halawit el Jeben etc ..) a bowl filled with Rass el Abed (Tarboush) and a Halawi plate. I never thought I’d find Rass el Abed at a buffet but I loved the idea.
There was also a plate with waterlemon and grilled halloum sticks. I prefer having the Bulghari cheese though with waterlemon.
PS: Maybe someone should come up with a Tarboush cake for birthdays.
