Beirut’s only synagogue, the Maghen Abraham Synagogue, is apparently set to reopen very soon. Asharq Alawsat newspaper interviewed the head of the Lebanese Jewish community Isaac Arazai who stated that Lebanese from all religions contributed to the renovation of the synagogue, including Solidere, and that the opening ceremony will be a private one and will be presided by a Rabbi.
I am glad that the synagogue will reopen and I hope to visit it soon.
