I stumbled upon this old piece of paper from 1994, with a whole page dedicated to Lebanon entering the era of electric trains, accompanied by a small map with all the train stops. The map is blurry and I couldn’t find it anywhere else online but I did find a revised 2020 map of a national railway masterplan. The map was created by Train/Train, an NGO advocating for Lebanese railway rehabilitation & railway heritage preservation.
Going back to the electric trains in the 1990s, I think the article is non-sense as the last trip by train that took place in Lebanon was in 1994, and since then the closest thing we got to a train was another useless campaign by the Energy Ministry in 2013.
