Habib Emile Dergham, a 26-year old Lebanese photographer from Bouar, has won the “Paris Match” 2021 Grand Prize for Photography, a competition that includes over 50,000 participants from all over France. Dergham, who is pursuing a Masters 2 in fashion photography at SPEOS Institute in Paris, submitted several photos from his book “A Cry of Silence”, that was inspired from the 2019 Lebanon protests.
The winner of the competition gets a check for five thousand euros, and an interview in the magazine.
