Pictures of a homeless man taking shelter under a bridge and selling used books went viral last week, prompting Lebanon’s Minister of Culture (wait for it) to visit the old man and throw some more books at him! The poor man is living in cardboard house under a bridge in the most deplorable conditions, so our dear minister decided to go for a photoshoot instead of trying to provide a shelter or connect with the Minister of Social Affairs to follow up on his case.
