I heard few times of the luxury Bufori car brand but I never had the curiosity to look up its founders up until I saw this reel on Insta. The lady in the reel mentions that the car is Lebanese and handcrafted in Malaysia then says in perfect Lebanese “chou hayda ya Zalami”.
In fact, the Bufori may be produced in Malaysia but it was originally founded in Australia by the Khouri brothers: Gerry, Anthony and George. Bufori stands for B – Beautiful, U – Unique, F – Funtastic, O – Original, R – Romantic, I – Irresistible and consists of hand-built luxury automobiles inspired by the American 1930s coupes and costs a minimum of $400,000 dollars if you opt for the basic specs. In comparison, it costs almost as much as a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
It takes 9000 man-hours to build a Bufori Geneva and less than 50 units are produced yearly. The car is highly customizable with everything you could possibly imagine including a coffee machine, a Chinese tea set, a fridge, a mini bar and others. Its body is carbon-kevlar and it has a beast of an engine with a 6.4L V8 producing 470 hp.
Bufori also produces a two-seat coupe called La Joya and is launching a new model called Bufori CS soon.
