Using recyclable materials to come up with Christmas trees is definitely not a new idea and a great one, and it’s good to hear that some people are setting up environmently-friendly trees in Lebanon but the one set up at the Cedar Lounge at the Rafic Hariri airport was badly executed to say the least.

I have no idea who’s the artist behind it (if there is one), as he may have an explanation as to why it looks that way, but a lot of people are upset about it and I think they’ve decided to remove it all together. While I agree that it’s hideous, I wish that Lebanese would get upset over more important issues that affect their everyday life 🙂
