Local businesses had to endure a rough summer due to the Gaza War and the ongoing Israeli war on Lebanon that escalated a month ago has taken a heavy toll on all businesses and the economy as a whole. A lot of NGOs are accepting donations to help the displaced and I’m glad to see certain initiatives aimed at promoting local businesses and giving all proceeds or partial proceeds to help the displaced.
The most recent one is a partnership between the Beauty & Wellbeing Forum and a local artist Lina Jaroudi to create limited-edition pendants and bracelets to support Local NGO Bassma in their quest to help the displaced families.
There are two items currently in this collection:
– A limited-edition pendant featuring the Lebanese map and the lotus flower—two powerful symbols of our identity and resilience.
– A limited-edition “Jouzour Bracelet” merging two enduring symbols: the Lebanese cedar and the lotus crown.
