Zeina Itani is an incredibly talented cake artist known for creating insanely large and jaw-dropping masterpieces. Her attention to detail and creativity have made her an internet sensation, with over 2 million followers on Instagram alone.
Zeina decided to pay tribute to Lebanon following the election of Joseph Aoun by creating a stunning cake that represents the country’s beauty, tradition, and culture. The base of the cake features the Baalbek Temple, with a traditional Lebanese house on top. Lebanese people in traditional dress are depicted dancing to Fairouz’s music. The cake also includes references to Lebanon’s food heritage, such as Kebbe Nayye and Tabbouleh, and to its cultural heritage with the Raouche Rock. A statue of the newly elected president, Joseph Aoun, stands next to the cake, alongside a Lebanese-map-shaped cake.
