Mark had posted back in May that Fudds is opening in Lebanon, well the place is almost finished, already hiring and is expected to open soon.
I’ve only heard good things about this place, so I am kind of looking forward to trying it.

Well it really is one of the best places to try!!!
yeah… if it was still 1995.

Sounds like a great endorsement man. Easy on the strong language..
What strong language?
you shouldn’t use the word “looking”, some people find it offensive.
I love this place. I eat at it every time I go to Dubai. Im glad its opening in Leb:)
I think Mustapha was being sarcastic.
One of the best burger joints in the US. I suspect however that presentation in Lebanon will be kind of different: In the US you order your burger and go to a condiment bar to add your sauces, vegetables, cheese etc. I feel that in Lebanon they might be worried of how people will use this… In all cases, yes, everyone must try it esp. if it has the same menu as in the US. I recommend the buffalo burger! Enjoy!
Who told you that? They shut down and went bankrupt in the states. It’s not even in the top 50 burger places in the states or even 100 or 1000.

Hey Mark – they didn’t completely shut down in the States. As pointed out in the Wiki entry you posted, they currently have 200 locations in North America (59 of which are corporate owned). (You can search US locations at their website – http://www.fuddruckers.com/findus/ ).
Yes, they filed for bankruptcy, but that’s often used by companies and individuals to protect themselves against having to pay off debt and gives companies the ability to restructure (example – Donald Trump’s businesses have been through bankruptcy 4 times and bounced back after corporate & financial restructuring).
Eitherway, regardless of all of their financial woes, I certainly don’t agree with Richard in his opinion that they’re one of the best burger joints in the States.
I too love FuddRuckers. They make a good burger! Can’t wait to read your take on it. There is one just down the street.

Yes, there is one in DC I frequent a couple of times per year (I don’t have that much burger:)). Plus I have no idea how they rank the burger joints but it is def. better than McDonald’s, B.King, Johny Rockets and many other places that offer burgers as part of their menus such as Apple Bees etc.
