Minute 75: Qatar still leading 1-0. Lebanese players looking a bit tired. We need an equalizer.
Minute 77: Substitution for Lebanon, Defender Ramez Dyoub out, Nader Matar in. Lebanese fans starting to leave the stadium. Shame on you.
Minute 92: Great chance for Lebanon missed.
Minute 93: End of game. Qatar wins 1-0.
We were better than Qatar by far! But we had big problems in actually scoring. Remember our top striker, Antar, was not playing! so our team isn’t THAT bad!!
This is actually supposed to be the easiest game for us and we lost it,lol
let’s focus ON building a great team for World Cup 2018 in Russia.
What about 2014 Brazil?? its not like were out yet.
I wasn’t dissapointed that we lost it since I was expecting this. But I was disappointed because Lebanon lifted my hopes at one point and really made me think we had this, but then the goal came along and we know what happened after. Im not very worried about the future matches because today Lebanon showed me that we can compete and go down fighting. A lot of people think it’s over for us since this was “the easiest match” of our group but I’ve think we’ve got one or two surprises our sleeves. Im not going to say that we’ll finish in first or second, but what I’m saying is we’re strong enough to shake the other teams’ chains. With roda antar back we’ll be back up and running more than before. And one last thing, IF WE’RE GOING DOWN THEN QATAR IS GOING DOWN WITH US.
Well said.
i hope that they will do something in the next games,
but the good thing is that they are playing well, no matter what the score is they are a good team, we are proud of them (at least i am:D )
