The Minister of Public Works & Transport announced on Twitter yesterday plans to build a new terminal at the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport with a foreign investment of $122 million, noting that no expansion plans have been undertaken at the current airport since 1998. The World Happiness Report released its annual ranking of the happiest & unhappiest countries in the world and Lebanon was ranked at the bottom along with Afghanistan. A memorandum was issued today by the Lebanese government to postpone Daylight Saving Time, which was set to start on Sunday March 26, until April 21 which marks the end of the Ramadan month. In other words, people fasting during the holy month of Ramadan won't need to do so for an "additional hour".
