I suggest the country hosting the next world cup to embrace chainsaws as their sport symbol and distribute them to everyone in the stadium, or even better grant the refereers vuvuzela-like whistles so that they keep the 2010 South Africa World Cup memories alive.

Come to think of it, in the 1986 WC, Mexico made the wave famous. Now that is taking a piece of the local culture. The vuvuzelas sadly is not! It is torture! I am watching the games on mute.
While I respect South Africa’s national culture, I cannot respect the fact that they are subjecting all of the players and the world to something that obnoxious! I’m quite sure a lot of matches would have turned out differently were it not for the vuvuzela!
Y the fuss?? I like the vuvuzela, and you should get to know more what the vuvuzela represents to the South Africans. If you dont want to experience different cultures than lets FIFA organize the WC in one country till the end of life.

There’s something related to cultures which we all respect but there’s common sense too. This hearing-damaging device is unacceptable and annoying. It is one thing to have few vuvuzelas and another to spread it around.
I still am annoyed by every game i watch because of this stupid thing.
