I got stuck for more than 3 hours yesterday in traffic due to protesters blocking roads in solidarity with the army. I tried to find a convincing reason for which people might block roads and highways at peak hours and the only conclusion I came up with is that they are either paid or stupid.
I don’t think I need to say more on this issue, specially when the Lebanese Army asked them to stop doing such things and go back home.
With all due respect this is not stupid at all … I’m fact I’m surprised so little is Beeing done
We need to stop Being so passive
We are entitled to an explaination… The gov screws us over all this years and just sit there and nag
We are to blame for everything happening to us , we elect the same people let them openly lie and steel from us then it just become “salon” gossip nothing much
We r a bunch of sissies … Voilá
Rita,
If we are entitled to an explanation, let’s go demonstrate where the MPs and ministers are, not block highways and frustrate people that have nothing to do with all that.
Think about ambulances going to hospital and stuck in traffic, families with their children, people tired from work all day and heading home. It is a crime to disturb people’s daily routine by closing down a vital highway.
There are a million ways to protest and a million other places than key roads and highways.
Yes totaly agree
But I think this is happening since no political party is organizing of leading nor reflecting this public opignion that people are there scattered everywhere expressing themselves
They don’t know better .. They are just upset
Just like i am here , I obviously woudnt go block roads since I’m the one always stuck in traffic lol, still trying to figure out a way to shout it out somehow…
Rita,
Those who went down to protest were mostly asked to by their leaders or parties or or …
No one reacted and went down 🙂
That’s my opinion.
Tab u think that’s ok ?
Mayb they just lost faith in their leaders since that are all full of s****
I don’t know
I just think we just can’t sit and do nothing
I truly think Lebanon is at an all time low …
Rita,
it’s not ok but you can do much better things than block roads on people.
