Ever since news spread that Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri broke his leg while skiing in the French Alps, jokes and critiques started pouring in all over the net. “Mich 3ejbitto Faraya, ra7 3al Alps”, “Di3ano ma ya3mil Ski bil Alpes” among others.
What’s the big deal if the man likes to ski and can afford going to the Alps? Have you seen the Alps slopes when compared to the Faraya slopes?
Added to that, Faraya is not cheap at all if you’re planning a weekend there and everyone speaks French up there, so it’s not that different from the Alps come to think of it.
batalit 3ajbetak Faraya hala2!
toul 3omrak myata2a fo2
next thing u know he’s gonna be traveling in his own airplanes… oh wait
3alam fadyeh.. la shaghle wala 3amleh
3a2bil el ejir el tanye 🙂
how can you people wish harm to other people???
people like you are the reason why we’re here in the 1st place
people like Mr. Asi here are so full of hatred and shit…its sad that bcoz of such ppl we will never be a normal nation, just islands of shitheads like him
Well said
you’re right wael…
why r u bothering yourself so much talking about this guy? he doesn’t give a damn about us … when was the last time he visited his home country? Talk about a former prime minister!?!?! anyway Allah yeshfi
JFK…You should know better as there were a few bullets with your name on them.
If your father was blown away and the crime’s accused are roaming free in Lebanon as divine warriors…Would you take a VALIANT and stupid step and land in Lebanon? Tell my what happened to Jebran?
mmmm,I dont like him rly !!
bs alah yeshfii w yerja3 la ahlo m3afa ..
“”Added to that, Faraya is not cheap at all if you’re planning a weekend there ….., so it’s not that different from the Alps come to think of it. “”
are you serious!!??
i rarely see lebanese people struggling to choose if their next weekend would be mmm let’s see faraya or alpes!!!??? since it’s within the same budget:p
Some people love to see others in pain; they’re possibly into BDSM and have nothing better to do.
Obviously he’s not in town because there is a security risk.
Even the biggest baddest dude in town (according to some people) has to stand behind a dozen bodyguards and behind bullet-proof glass when he publicly speaks.
So find something better to do; like complain about the economic conditions in Lebanon and not if some guy with his family broke his leg skiing.
Jeff, my father was an intellectual (writer) and was killed during the war by a christian militia, and my brother was kidnapped by Palestinians, although we were never part of ANY POLITICAL PARTY and never never been a part of this ugly war but just paid the price of being christians and wrongly thought that we were free to go anywhere in our country! but one thing for sure, WE NEVER EVER LEFT OUR COUNTRY although we had the means to do it !!!!!!!!!!
Btw, Gebran was someone I knew personally and respected a lot, and also respect his death, as well the death of all lebanese loyals who gave their life for this country. So please stop using it for your arguments. There is no SINGLE family in Lebanon who hasn’t lost someone dear in a tragic way since the war started …
JFK,
Don’t u wish Gebran had stayed outside the country for a bit longer and stayed alive until it was safe back here?
I sure do wish he did that.
Ditto Najib re: Gebran.
JFK; your rationale does not hold water…just because you “respect” Gebran’s death does not mean anyone else should walk into their deaths. The unfortunate part is that you and rest of Lebanese are still into the culture of death and “martyrdom” then living and enjoying life (unless you think going to restaurants or Skybar are the reason for existance…)
Regardless enjoy the peaks of faraya and let others enjoy theirs.
Jeff I don’t think you have any respect for anyone’s death! How dare u say i am into the culture of death when i have lost my own father in a very tragic way? my father was in his office, writing, when he was “mistakenly” killed. And when I say that all lebanese families have lost someone dear in that bloody war, i never meant that those who were killed were all holding guns shooting at people! so many people were killed in their homes, in their sleep, at school, at work, because they belonged to this or that religion… At least people like hariri or tueini were politicians and knew they were in danger, but what about the others? us, the non-concerned people! I am disgusted by your way of thinking… you’re so full of hatred while i, am in peace with myself since the day i forgave those who hurt my family.
btw and fyi skybar is not a place for me, and i don’t ski either, but i don’t think u have the right to insult people who go to these places though.
Just hope u can get over ur anger and ur hatred one day, cuz u seem to hate all those who don’t think the way u do and don’t like the things u like or conversely like things u don’t like. Good luck
Najib, of course I wish Gebran was still alive, in lebanon or abroad, he was a person i admired a lot, but Gebran was madly in love with his country and couldn’t stand living away from it … he paid the highest price, just like my dad
JFK…I love life. If that makes me angry then great! I have expressed an opinion much like you; but it seems you have other issues. Live long & prosper.
so after I read what u wrote.. u should be afraid for the innocent ppl walking around, who have nothing to do with politics, jogging or going to supermarkets or to university and asking SH to stay outside Lebanon… for their own safety if u don’t care about his safety… la2an when a ton bomb explodes… Allah yer7amoun!!!
u’r full of contradictions man…
Wael the whole point was about JFK’s remark about SH not returning to Lebanon. His chances of being blown up just like his dad are 100% currently (based on alleged security warnings as well as the fact that the indictiees to RH’s murder are roaming around as free men)…
Now there’s difference between:
Dying if your car stalls on the train tracks while the train is coming &
Dying by standing in front of an upcoming train…
Lakhayem
bro Jeff.. who said this “why r u bothering yourself so much talking about this guy? he doesn’t give a damn about us … when was the last time he visited his home country? Talk about a former prime minister!?!?! anyway Allah yeshfi”….can’t say what u said above!….
I told u… u’r full of contradictions!
I guess you would not say that people who stole 40 million from the army coffers and lived in Paris for 14 years without returning…and now he and his relatives are multi millionaires but…at least they are in Lebanon stealing from you with mafia protection right??
People get what you deserve! FYI; I don’t give art’s ass about Hariri; but I cannot stand hypocrites!
do u know what is the real meaning of hypocrites? it’s when u accuse ppl of stealing without having any clue or evidence… or even without opening any investigation.. just coz u don’t have any other political “weapon”…
Wael learn the definition of the word. BTW did I feel that you are getting your feelings hurt or your ‘hero’s” name tarnished? There is ample proof to indict and convict almost all the thieves disguised as politicians in Lebanon; however who will be the judge? Your leader or the others’?
Hypocrisy is the state of pretending to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that one does not actually have.[1] Hypocrisy involves the deception of others and is thus a kind of lie.[1]
(Remind you of someone who has become a multimillionaire with an engineer’s degree?)

Bro Jeff… yeah I am pro FM.. and I am proud of it… the multimillionaire that u’r talking about hadn’t been millionaire in 1 year… he was so healthy before he came to Leb.. He made many projects in KSA.. for the royal family.. not any projects… so go and read well his profle be4 u come and accuse ppl without evidences.. and this is a kind of hypocrisy whatever is its definition in z dictionnary … !
anyways… each one has its own opinion..but u get on my nerves after reading ur 1st comment full of hatred..
ma3lesh 7elou ykoun fi many opinions in Lebanon bas kamena 7elou ne7terem ba3edna…
u got*
Wael is that a Freudian slip..I am sure you meant FPM!!!! But it’s OK that’s the future of Lebanon Imbeciles…Pun intended!
