“Find something else to keep you busy”. “Get Internet”.
Connect is trying to promote internet like they first did when TVs were invented, but if they’re targeting big families living in distant villages with no internet, I am pretty sure Facebook is the right means to do so. Moreover, the families portrayed appear to be living in a small house in the middle of no where, and are probably busy making a living rather than looking for new ways to get “busy”. This being said, these ads may come as borderline offensive, not just silly.
On a different note, I’ve tried Connect’s modem in Jeita and it sucked. I wonder what type of services can they offer in such remote areas? Fiber optics? LOL.
