I couldnt tell which is lamer because I dont have youtube in my office so didn;t know which ad was the second one 🙁
But the one of Solet Tapis is pretty lame, eventhough I have to admit it made me smile when I first saw it. I never looked at the papier peint 🙂

The second one is the Alfa Blom Ad (chi marra semi3 karakand 3am ye7ke?). Am sure you’ve heard it on the radio or saw it on TV.

the first one is a rip off and not only that, the girl is not pretty so i didnt even read her, the wall paper was in fact nicer looking so it doesnt really work.
the other one is also lame, is it me? or is it stupid to link a radio and T|V ad when so much of it has to do with the visual side of it….on the radio where i heard it first i didnt even know the guy was a crab until it said seme3lak karakand…. stupid
The first one is a rip off, of a charity ad, how horrible can that be? The second is, the idea is solid if it is not a rip off it is good but the execution is very very lame (with BBDO it could be an idea to sell something else and moved it, it really fits a good lobster restaurant ad)

They put the one with the lobster on the radio as well. it’s very lame. The ad starts with “wala marra seme3 karakand 3am bye7ke?” (haven’t you ever heard a lobster talk?) how the hell are you supposed to know that the voice is a lobster by listening to it on the radio??

The Solet Tapis one is inspired by (just not to say a copycat of) an Ad done in the 90s for CPA48, a Belgian disabilities non-profit organization. It has the same tag line; however, the CPA48 Ad is much powerful; check the link for the Ad
