Protecting Lebanon 24/7.
Here’s a roundup of the Lebanese Army Day I found this year. A Happy 71st birthday to our brave soldiers and I hope our kidnapped soldiers will be freed soon.
My favorite ad this year – Fakhry Chicken
Let’s focus on what unites us – Furn Beaino
JAC’s ad reminded me of Red Alert’s V2 rocket launcher
via Tatra Dairy
I have mixed feelings about Kababji’s ad this year
via Ecole des Arts
Alfa decorated their building for the occasion
Our army rocks- via Chahine
Proud of our soldiers – via Butec
Kababjib is an epic fail and borderline barbaric.
Under no circumstances should one celebrate killing others. It’s brutal and very Isis-like.
The emphasis should be on “protecting the country’s sovereignty” not on “flamegrilling your enemies”.
Fakhry’s “ta7t jwen7ak” is so punny it can’t be taken seriously.
I wish Lebanese brands would refrain from commercially abusing every event. Just because it’s Army Day it doesn’t mean you have to jump on the bandwagon of greetings.
You forgot the virgin ticketing box office :p
i don’t know if you keep comments that have links to other blogs
but i completely agree with this post

these ads are purely taking advantages of the Lebanese army day (as they do for Christmas, Easter, Ramadan) to sell their products! that’s all they care about
i hate every AD / company that takes advantage of special occasions to sell us their stuff!
