That’s great but how are they planning on keeping them out without metal detectors or even security guards checking you anymore?

they trust us enough to do it ourselves
Joe: LOL
Hey Najib, I really think that you should try tweeting similar posts instead of posting them on the blog, dunno it doesn’t look blog material. just a thought
They’re trying to save time off traffic 😛
Could be Marie but I don’t like twitter.
not even an account for the blog where the posts are automatically linked and fun stuff like the post above are tweeted there?
what do you have against twitter?
I don’t like birds. No just kidding but I never found any use for it to be honest. I have an account and used it a bit but then stopped.
Promise I will give it another try 🙂
You definitely should, twitter is a great platform to spread blog posts and get live feedback. and there is a large and very interesting Lebanese community there 🙂
Marie: Using twitter to post links to blog posts is a horrible idea and is actually counted as twitter spam. It’s extremely annoying following someone who just posts links to his blogs. If you want to stay up to date on the latest blog posts either subscribe to the RSS feed or check the blog once a day.
Well everybody does it, I’m an active twitter user and it does not annoy me. I subscribe to the blogs I like to read on a daily basis but sometimes I stumble upon posts I like of blogs I’m not subscribed to and that is via twitter. How is that annoying unless it’s 1,000 posts per day?
I’m just saying that guys you are missing a lot not being on twitter. Adding that some things you post or some thoughts you might have are more tweet material (less than 140 characters) than blog post material.
I’d say ask fellow bloggers who are on twitter about their experience and how it benefited their blog (or not) and judge.
Ah and of course there should be minimum interaction on the twitter account in addition to the blog post tweets. well, once you start by having the account, interaction will come naturally 🙂
Marie, ignore Mark, he’s a twitter luddite who follows just 15 people. He can’t possibly know what real twitter spam is 😉
I agree with both Marie and Marc, Twitter has to be approached with care when it comes to using it as a medium to spread your reach.
on the other hand, getting responses to the tweeted posts would be easy, but hard to follow for the readers that like to post back…i prefer this current set up…
i get over 1000 tweets on a busy day, most of them useless…. for serious followers RSS is the way to go i believe…Twitter is for Twits and Twats anyway 😛
and another thing, 140 characters make life very difficult for a writer, what if you need 141? I like punctuation…Twitter fails miserably there…
