This is why I said what’s worse is our keeper’s reaction cause he sucks but still kicking a penalty with your backheel and in the matter he did it and under the circumstances is disrespecting to your opponent and sort of mocking him.
He should have behaved professionally and kicked it in a normal matter. Good thing no gun fires were needed this time, looks like We hate Kuwaitis more lol.

Well on the good side, the UAE coach directly replaced the penalty kicker (although he had just come in the match) and quickly officially apologized for the action.

I don’t think the Goal keeper’s reaction was offensive, but the UAE player is very arrogant. Typically “khaliji” behavior . Middle Easterns are not that offensive and arrogant.
Rana that’s generalizing. It’s like saying all Middle Eastern s are horrible goal keepers because our goal keeper sucks.
I am against generalizing, but I lived in the UAE for 3 years and i never met a Khaliji who was not arrogant, I’ll correct myself : let’s say most of them are arrogant. Good ? 🙂

It was totally unsportsmanlike and disrespectful. Anyone trying that crap in NFL, NBA or NHL would have a bounty on their head on their next encounter.
Mark; sports is meant to be friendly and not be used to humiliate an opponent especially when they are down so bad.
As for the keeper; most likely he did not want to try to save as he would have looked even more ridiculous.
