According to a recent LBCI report, the solid waste plant in Ghosta is set to shut down due to differences with the Interior Ministry & Finance Ministry. I believe this may be linked to the funds that were supposed to be transferred to municipalities by the Interior Ministry.
In all cases, if this plant is truly shutting down, it’s a shame because the waste treatment plan was expected to help half of Kesrouan’s trash problems. If anything, Keserwan’s municipalities should figure out a way to fund it privately without resorting to the authorities. Since the land and the factory are owned by the municipality, I don’t see why this should be a problem.
