How to cut off the Internet in Lebanon

[Picture from NowLebanon]

You don’t need revolutions for the internet to go off in Lebanon. All you need is a bad weather and the internet seizes to exist. So if anyone is planning some e-revolution like the one in Egypt, I suggest they wait until the summer.

In summer, they can just turn off the electricity and with the current fuel prices, generators will probably stop functioning regularly :P

Hehe, exactly my thought today… the thing is, if you’re using ADSL, it shouldn’t be affected by the weather as opposed to wireless links, but in weather like today, everyone stays home with nothing to do other than use the internet creating a big load that leads to the same thing… so the quality of the Net in Lebanon, is a vicious circle… or web?
