Families of the Beirut Bomb Victims marked the 30th anniversary of the Beirut Barracks Bombings in the city of Jacksonville a couple of days ago. On October 23 1983, two truck bombs struck separate buildings housing United States and French military forces, members of the Multinational Force (MNF) in Lebanon, killing 299 American and French servicemen.
This bombing was the deadliest single day death toll for the U.S. Marine Corps since WWII. Unfortunately, these bombings are still taking place in Lebanon and killing innocent civilians, with the latest ones being in Tripoli and Dahieh.

while they are mourning, I am celebrating!!
299 terrorists died that day. shit i meant americans
You’re sick and disgusting!
My God Bless America, its not a perfect country but today, it is still the best country considering freedom for all and opportunities.
freedom in America ? Ha
it is war, I’m really sorry for humanity…
but not for all the shits of the US governments decisions, and acts; those men were killed by their government, no doubt that many people there are kind, but they are controlled by the rudest minds ever.
Yes, America is the land of the free. The biggest fault America did was not have the will to fight the Muslim Terrorist when they started their Jihad against the Christians of Lebanon and the world over 30 years ago.
Wonder why the Arabs of the middle east hate on America with a passion but try to flee their countries at any chance they have to have a chance to live in the USA?
What Arab/Muslim country gives you any chance of human freedom/rights or is tolerant to others who are not Muslims?

No offence, but what you are saying shows that you have no idea what politics is about.
Let me inform you that the jihadist you mentioned were created by the US governments so they can tease the USSR in Afghanistan and Shishan, moreover I want you to know that OSSAMA BINLADEN him self was a CIA agent.
MY friend, USA don’t care neither for Christians in Lebanon nor in the middle east, and the Iraqi Christians are the proof.
On the other hand what you are saying about the land of freedom is a big lie that you want to believe. Where is freedom and democracy when the majority of the US citizens are against war and their government is the main war trader? USA is controlled by the economical power of few men, and those may sell anything even humanity.
Thank you raydan, well said. Those who defend US are either ignorant or inhumane. Really, that easy. either they didn’t dig deep enough in US shit or they are hypnotized capitalist pigs.
Your argument is weakened immensely when you use the term “capitalist pigs”.
i dont see why desmond. plus im not arguing, just stating facts
free-thinker….anonymous’ argument is that if you defend the US, you are ignorant or inhumane – that is a fair argument.
Saying the defenders are just “hypnotized capitalist pigs” is defining the speaker either as a communist or an anarchist and either of those ideologies is by definition opposed to any sort of power, regardless of who wields it.
As such, any argument conducted by a communist or anarchist against US policies is weakened simply by the ideology behind it and not by specific examples.
Desmond, my argument is valid whether im a communist, anarchist or whatever. im neither anyway, im just a honest person who clearly sees US as a treat to humanity and community. I also dont believe in the economic and political system of the US, which is where the term “capitalist pigs” comes from. US economic system is largely based on economic slavery both on a personal and national level.
If you read my reply again, you will see that I’m not questioning the validity of your argument, merely the strength of it. I would be interested to hear what you think would be the best economic system. Capitalism is not perfect by a long way…but it is at present the one that works best.
My friend communism isn’t better, trust me its all the same. communism and capitalism are different faces for the same paper. even Guevara said that!
these ideologies are to separate us as humans, even religions are ideologies, because the GOD I trust have no religion.
I may now have my own ideology, and everyone should, but the main concept have always to be humanity.

You have no idea what is going on behind your backyard. Typical.
Duhhhhhhhh

Only 5 attended the congressional hearing. Pathetic.
Theres More freedoms in the USA than any Muslim country combined but I’m sure you will blame that fact on the USA and Israeli conspiracies…
Typical
Fadi, you can turn a blind eye on the catastrophes American foreign policy has caused just because you have it good, but there is no conspiracy involved with hundreds of millions of people of the world that suffer from these policies. This including the Lebanese, since we are always someone elses proxy and not an independent state.
politics 101
That’s around the world**
Until the day just one Islamic country can prove to have more freedoms for its citizens that the good o’l USA. The choice is easy, USA all the way. As previously and simply stated, no country is perfect.
May God Bless the USA.
