I spotted those Zaatar bags at the newly open Rifai Branch in Jeita. The Aleppian and Jordanian Thymes mixtures are lighter and tastier than the Thyme we have in Lebanon as far as I am concerned.

the Aleppian is the best that i’ve ever tasted
My teta makes her own zaatar from lShouf, best ever!
I vote for Zaatar Halabi for sure, its way better than traditional Lebanese Zaatar. By the way there’s no official Lebanese Zaatar, everyone in Lebanon has its own mixture, like everything in this country :S
Have you ever tried the Auxilia Zaatar? The best by far! It even has low salt. U really should try it
the jordanian 1 !!!! ufffff lamma ykoun taza !!
I’m a jordanian zaatar kind of girl
Mmm For me, Goodies Zaatar Baladi is the best, except if you have someone who makes it for you home/village-made.
In Lebanon we have many mixtures and the taste depends on the region from which the herbs come. My mom is from the north, so we are used to the pitch black zaatar. Its very good but hard on people who are not used to it.
I have to admit, the one from the south of lebanon, specifically the summak is GREAT!
Ive been searching for a good zaatar halabi. I should definitely try this one. Is there any good shops / brands soneone recommends?
