I tweeted Beirut City Centre asking them why Shake Shack didn’t open yet (Knowing that it was due to open in July) and I got the above answer. The Cheese Cake Factory is not open yet and from what I heard but can’t confirm, might not open before the end of the year.
I am not sure if it’s the bad situation that is causing these delays but I would have done the same given the critical phase Lebanon and the whole region are going through.
I live in Kuwait and i asked one of the managers of cheesecake factory why didnt they open in Lebanon yet? he said its on hold for the time being becz of the situation
more junk and unhealthy food for the population
I posted about this on their Facebook page, they replied that shake shack will open on September 14th, nothing on Cheesecake Factory opening date though.
I confirm what Bassam said, that was the exact answer I got from ppl at cheesecake factory in Dubai!
Its not the situation guys. It’s because BCC are asking toooooo much for the rent $$$$$.
What situation???????
It was supposed to open last month and if you have noticed that the work on it is going tooooo slowly.
So i doubt if CheeseCake is going to open soon
:((((((
What’s so exciting about more junk food restaurants opening up?
I am more inclined to say it’s due to difficulties within the Alshaya corporation. The situation didn’t stop them to open Jack Wills and their remaining brands
I hope it doesn’t open…I try as much as I can not to eat this shit…
