I am glad MTV raised the issue but you’d think something like that should be given a bit more importance, specially that it affects all the Lebanese and is a very serious matter.

the issue is not new. iam from bekaa and many do use the Litani Water (full of sewage,garbage,…etc) since 1990s (sure even before) without any recycling….
farmers and people who have daily contact with land can tell which crops are watered by such water and which crops are watered by clean water from the shape of the potatos.. weird but true. my dad taught me to differentiate but i couldn’t master it 😉
