It seems Marcel Ghanem managed to anger a lot of people (not me) during his last show including Charles Aznavour fans. In fact, towards the end of his 8 minutes long intro, He bashed Aznavour’s suggestion to put Iraqi refugees in French deserted villages.
I have to say his Aznavour comment was a bit harsh, but what the French singer was proposing is also unacceptable. After all, Aznavour is an Armenian and what happened to his community is happening now to the Christian and Yazidi communities in Iraq. The international community should not stand still and offer deserted villages to the refugees, but instead wipe out these IS savages until there’s not a single one of them left.

indeed what aznavour said was not right but he DOESNT have the right to call him “kherfen” thats unacceptable! i havent heard marcel call a lebanese politician like that who say stuff worse than that
Aznavour was callous. But he has an opinion; so be it. That does not justify derogatory comments. I did not see Ghanem bash Najwa Karam when she admired Hitler!

It is your savages and your Islamist. Instead of looking for others as always (typical Lebanese mentality) to do your work while you party; get it together and wipe them out (if you can that is). ISIS did not just sprout out overnight. There are myriad of political, social and geopolitical reasons for the support they have received.

When death lurks to the community you belong to, then people start to wake up and know where the threat lies. No longer would miniorites listen to foreign countries or leaders because now they have experienced or witnessed the atrocities have hit home. It took almost 3 years to realize it, but better late then never. Still waiting for the rest of Lebanon to catch up. Unless they want to belong to IS, then let them suffer the consequences.
What Aznavour suggested is irrealistic ,Europe can’t afford to welcome all those refugees ,Europe can’t bear to stand on its feet without the refugees ,how about when it accepts all those refugees ,what you said is more logical,wipe out all those terrorists .
This isn’t the same time when Armenians were deported ,back then Lebanon wasn’t this much populated ,nor Europe ,so they could handle 1-1.5 million Armenians refugees but thiis is different ,we’re talking about millions now.So neither Europe ,nor Lebanon can afford to welcome more refugees whatever their religion,race ,be it Yazidis ,Christians or Muslims from Syria
They should fix their problems in their country first and wipe out the terrorists like said
