I was walking back to my car a couple of weeks ago in Achrafieh when I spotted a small note placed on a building that warned people passing by of falling rocks. I thought it was a joke at first but then saw the same note in Arabic on the other side of the building. I looked up and noticed that some parts of the roof were indeed falling off, yet there were no security fences around the place.
I don’t know how the municipality allows such a thing but something needs to be done before someone gets hurt.
