NAHNOO, the NGO that has been campaigning for years to re-open Horsh Beirut and has finally succeeded in doing so last year, posted earlier today that Beirut’s municipality took a decision to close down the Horsh for 3 months to get rid of worms that are destroying the trees.

I didn’t see any official announcement yet on the Beirut Municipality Facebook page or website (They finally have a website!) but Spring is definitely the worst time to close down the Horsh.
