The strongest cyclone to ever hit southern Oman and neighbouring Yemen has left its mark on Lebanon in the last few days and some of the most affected areas by the recent rainstorms are Ras Baalbeck and Kaa where major floods are threatening the villages and ruining the crops. Luckily no one was killed or injured but measures need to be taken to ensure locals’ safety because the floods are still going strong and have reached el Kaa. We’re still expecting rains on Thursday and Friday this week.
