I’ve never tasted Lebanese brew until yesterday and It’s a disappointment to say the least. It’s very light and too sweet and it’s no way near Almaza.
You can check out their facebook page as their website has no content on it.
Correction: A friend called and clarified the issue as he knows the man behind this beer. The label apparently says “Fi” not “min” (it is a bit torn and unclear), and this beer was sent to Syria for distribution and somehow made its way back to Lebanon. However, bottles could be coming in from Kuwait if not from Lebanon, that remains to be confirmed.
Where does it say imported from Syria? The beer itself is made in Lebanon, maybe the bottle or something is from Syria lol
Check the second picture on the bottom. It says under lebanese brew “Al moustawrad min souriya”
It might be the bottle for all I know but they could have got them from Lebanon if they wanna come up with a Lebanese brew 🙂
I think they mean to say that this beer is only distributed in Lebanon and Syria and in Syria this is our distributor. Most, if not all, products in the region specify the name of the distributor in each country.
the design is trendy is all but I haven’t tried it
Guys,
I need to correct the above for you !!!
My friend is one of the owners of the Lebanese Brew companies, and the truth is that these quantities were supposed to be exported to Syria and now with the turmoil there, they had to sell them in Lebanon !
they have bottles that were suppose to be sent to UK and mentioned on it the same but stayed here as demand is increasing and this is their priority !
Guys
Finally we have something 100% Lebanese and you are not even giving it a chance :-S
What Tony Said is true pple learn to read the back label correctly it is made in Mazra3it Yashou3 as for the Arabic it says “almoustawrid FI souriya” so it s clear that it was a bacth exported to syria and not from it…
and as a reply to Najib well you ve been drinking a non Lebanese beer for all your life and you got used to its taste, so why not give a True Lebanese Beer a second try so that your taste gains the knowledge of a real authentic beer and not drink a juice of corn and water.
C,
I gave it a chance and did not like it. It doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just like Almaza better.
Ba3den isn’t Almaza 100% Lebanese?
Najib , Long live diversity 😉
yet Almaza is now owned by Heineken International so how Lebanese is that!!
Almaza isn’t even Lebanese anymore, it was bought by Heineken!!
