This place was one of my favourite hangouts few years ago, until the food and service deteriorated so i stopped going there for a long while. I decided to go there tonight with my brother mostly because i miss the location. It is situated at the beginning of Kaslik and is more like a cafe trottoir than a restaurant.
I must say the food looked decent and the service was surprisingly good, but it was mostly the location that i enjoyed and my Almaza draft beer. During the summer, the place is always packed day and night during week days and weekends.
I should be coming down this weekend, maybe we’ll have a beer there. i love drinking in jounieh, just seems like a better idea.
I happen to know a lot of people who share your same opinion about the downfall of crepaway. What do you think management could do to make it better? Personally, I’ve only been to the one in Hamra..and although the service is relatively good, and the venue is nice..I have to agree..the quality of food is lacking..And it becomes more apparent with all of the other diners around serving VERY GOOD diner food..even by American standards..
So is that it? Is it just the food?
Ohh another thing..those little nuts you have pictured above..THEY ARE THE ishhhhh. Amazing..I love them!
Danielle,
I think management should be changed 🙂
