Why is she secretly asking about her loan? Is it a shame to get a personal loan or a matter of national security?

Why is she secretly asking about her loan? Is it a shame to get a personal loan or a matter of national security?
That was pretty bad…
I can’t tell you how much I hated this ad! Dancing in a commercial for a bank?
so ridiculous i thought that i was seeing an Indian movie at first…
all of the above ! ๐
i is just a bad call for Nadine, she usually takes good decisions
i hated this one
maybe everytime someone gets an aproval, they all dance for him at blc :p
isn’t the case that people don’t necessarily like to say they are taking loans?
Where did you get the idea that she was doing it secretly? That was just a dramatic entrance! Plus, how would it be secret if she was celebrating her getting a loan with everyone in the bank! And, why are you guys hating on her and on the ad? At least it’s a new idea, and it catches your attention… we’re sick of those cold bank ads that brag about themselves with false slogans “Grow beyond your potential” or “Masrifouka mada el 7ayat” or “Ra7et el Bel”, yeah right how am I gonna be at ease while I have a huge bank payment coming up every month!!!
ya man, this is a lame ad… just admit it
Lame or not, at least it has people talking about it. After all, who used to talk about a small bank such as BLC?
Lame and stupid ad. Period.
The way she walks in with the kind of music they play at the start portrays that she’s doing something in secret. Headscarf, big sunglasses etc etc.
So dancing and singing is a “new idea”? Just because it’s different than your typical bank ad doesn’t make it better. Coming up with an idea just so it’s “different” isn’t difficult to do, coming up with a good idea IS hard to do.
They could have put a dancing cedar tree in the video and that would have been different, but would that have been a good idea? lol
Umm yes, “dancing and singing” i.e making a westernized musical in any commercial, let alone a bank commercial (God knows how much I hate bank commercials), is a “new idea” for a country like Lebanon with an ad industry that is going backwards year after year. Just look at countries like Turkey where their ad industry was nothing back in the 80’s and now it’s one of the most creative and flourishing ones in Europe and the ME.
And btw, a dancing cedar would actually be a great idea for an ad.
Or it could be the idea that usually people are ashamed of getting rejected, and that’s what she was afraid of?
I really like this ad actually. Its fun. Nadine is cute. Lebanese just like to hate on everything Lebanese.
we all like nadine.. but what the hell was that?
are you serious?
i get goosebumbs (the bad kind) anytime i see it. i even turn off the TV!
exactly my point
It’s awkward to watch, the dance choreography is pretty mediocre and it’s just a poorly done ad. She walks in at the beginning as if she’s trying to secretly get a loan, what kind of message is that portraying?
This has nothing to do with it being Lebanese or any other sort of “anti-” whatever. It’s just a poorly executed TV ad.
She started the ad by asking the bank about the status of her loan ,since she was passing by, and turned on that it is approved already.
So we they are pretending to have fast service and quick approval. Suppose she didnรขโฌโขt pass by, then it could take them another month to answer her back.
Poor ad, could be great as show ad
hehe shabeb sabaya ma tkhabto ba3dkoun ๐
PS: it is not a new idea,
a great ad is :bank med’s ” shou we2fit 3laye? ” thing
this might be a fun full of messages add ๐
I prefer the one below…also 100% lebanese..with a twist

haha bati2 ๐ .. i love advertising ๐
the good ones akid
Nadine is lovely as ever. The ad… not quite sure.
A friend of mine, a BLC employee, tells me they do not use an advertising agency. ie. they come up with their own ideas for ads; and if you’ve seen the billboards they’ve had thus far, it shows. I guess they did use an agency for this one. Not sure how much it improved on things.
Good luck to BLC anyway, it is growing well.
very poor indeed!
No one has mentioned that the music of the song used in this commercial is for another song, an english song i suppose. I cant remember the name of the song but I feel this commercial is pretty like syrian commercials using other song’s music and changing the words. How lame!!! Plz can someone remind me what is the name of the song she used to do this ad’s song?
