I thought the Valet Parking issue was resolved by the ZWZ team once and for all after many complaints from myself and others. I guess we were wrong.

whoever put the video together did a horrible job. they need to decide if its a video or blog post. if its a video then they should show footage thats longer than 1 second each time. if its a blog post then they should post it on a blog not in a video.
This is very sad and what’s more sad is the “efficient police” we have and we pay for . I will never ever set foot in zaatar ou zeit again …this is really sad .
Why am I not surprised by this whole story? Neither by the police reaction nor by ZWZ guys. Lebanon will never become a civilized country as long it is ruled and governed by corrupt politicians.
I am boycotting ZWZ from now on.

Guys, no one is asking to boycott ZWZ but for them to take the proper measures against those valet guys or kick them out.
ZWZ has good food and good customer service and should not allow such behavior.
That’s true they do have good food and are a great for our post clubbing nights , but it’s sad to see that they allow stuff like this to happen. Like you said it’s as simple as kicking the valet guys out, but do you actually think they will take ANY legitimate action? I highly doubt..

Isn’t the valet parking considered a “customer service”? The video refutes your assessment.
The chain in itself has a good customer service. The Valet parking is an outsourced service that they pay for and are not considered ZWZ staff. (as far as I know).
It is definitely considered part of the customer’s service and since ZWZ initially has a good customer service, it should work on reflecting it through this valet parking company or simply firing them and hiring their own people.
And this “good customer service” is what led to the manager to sit by and watch and not even apologize to the guy? Stop contradicting yourself. You can’t post a video like this and then say there’s good customer service involved. A good management would have immediately cut off its ties with the valet company from when the first incident happened.

I am not here to defend ZWZ. I’ve had my share of bad experiences with them and they treated it properly and handled the matter as they should have and informed us all on the blog. I am talking in general and there are exceptions everywhere. The manager should be kicked out as well in my opinion but that doesn’t mean they r bad.
They definitely have an issue with their Valet Parking company that seems to resurge every now and then. They thought they fixed it but it happened again.
All that I am saying is that I decided to stop giving my car to the Valet after what happened and did not boycott ZWZ as a whole.
I just heard today that VIP are raising a lawsuit against the guy for “tarnishing their reputation on social media”
If this is true we have reached a yet new low in this country.
Marwan I blame you. If you were not Lebanese and you don’t know the rules of the game, fine. But you live here and probably you got a fine education and been maybe overseas and seen different things in life….
The valet parking may have not the education you have and I am sure he have never travelled in his life. He must work to survive and that’s the only thing he knows, cant blame him. As for the police we all know how it works.

jackt you dont need to have a high education to read a street sign. And everyone in life works to survive, the law should be equal to everyone.
I’m against boycottin ZWZ only for 1 reason… all valet parkinbg ppl behave in such manner thus it ain’t ZWZ’s fault. I hate valet parking but most places in Lebanon do not have parking thus hire them. If you’d go to any shopping roads, without having a valet the shop’s vendors would not allowed you to park…
