OMG that was freaking disturbing. What the hell did I just watch? How could they just leave like that!?!!! simply just shoot the person and leave. If they get caught, I swear.. They deserve to be hung in front of Lebanon and shot by every single Lebanese. People are so sick these days
I’m related to the victim and so far the person who ordered coffee has been let go since he was just a bystander although he’s the shooter’s cousin… wonder how long they will imprison the shooter in that case…
What was his motive?
what?! WHAT?! what’s the background here? what happened? can anyone tell us?
The shooter was high on cocaine supposedly and wanted to kill anyone that was working at the shop since he and the shop owner got into a fight. My relative isn’t related to the owner and was unaware of the fight and was just covering someone’s shift. The first investigation finished but they later found out it was rigged and the people who conducted the investigation were paid by the shooter’s family. Another investigation is supposedly under way and we are waiting to hear with what they come up and hopefully everyone will get what they deserve, including the ‘bystander’.
Thank you for the information and hope both get jail for life for what they’ve done.

Thank you. It disgusts me how heartless people can be. I hope all this drug nonsense will end in Lebanon and the driver who was waiting outside also serves time.

Unfortunately, such disregard for the law is all to commonplace in Lebanon.
From the janitor, to the supreme court judge – everyone is all too willing to take a bribe, and why not since the chances of them getting prosecuted is close to nil.
not only should the shooter, the bystander and the driver be persecuted, but, if proven that the first investigation was rigged and were paid, they should also be persecuted.
The unfortunate reality in Lebanon is that – like we like blame the people for electing the same mob into power each election, we are also to blame for paying bribes in the first place.
If the people refused to pay bribes, and were not all to willing to pay them, the officials would be more hesitant to seek such bribes in the first place.
I hear the same story all the time, I put in my application, and waited for months, and nothing happened, I paid the official $100 and he processed it that afternoon…
but you just contradicted yourself.. abt the not paying the bribe thing… if you don’t pay ur bribe, they simply won’t process ur application, not even by the “natural” way! so not paying the bribe will not make them honest ppl…
however i agree with everything else you said. the country is corrupt, and only a “new” government with fresh blood whose sole purpose is to clear the shit is the answer… nothing else

I always use this example, imagine urself killing a small chick (I dont mean a girl, probabiblity is u will not be able to!
Now imagine what is going on in a person’s head to be able to kill another human being!
I do no care if he is as high as the khalifa tower on drugs, drugs (& we have all tried them, all kinds of them) do not make u a murderer.
Of course I am antidrugs & I hope no one takes drugs in his life because they r destructive on the person but killing someone in such cold blood is a whole different league!
may they die, burn & rot in hell n all murderers like that.
