“Anxious in Beirut”, a documentary directed by Zakaria Jaber and produced by Jumana Saadeh, has won the award for Best Documentary Film at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The documentary covers the three years of successive crises in Lebanon from 2019 till 2021 from the oppressed protests, the port explosion and the economic crisis repercussion.

“Anxious in Beirut” is a joint effort between Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, and Spain and was highly praised for its outstanding storytelling and thought-provoking content.
