I was checking out a list of the 7 best luxury hotels in Lebanon and thought I take a look at the rates for each of these hotels between March 30 and April 1st for 1 adult for 1 night.
Here’s the list as suggested in the article, added to it the price rates:
1- InterContinental Mountain Resort and Spa Mzaar (Starting 215$)
2- Four Seasons Hotel Beirut (Starting 325$)
3- InterContinental Le Vendome Beirut (Starting 270$)
4- Le Royal Hotel Beirut (Starting 225$)
5- InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut (Starting 280$)
6- Sofitel Le Gabriel Beyrouth (230$)
7- Le Gray Beirut (Starting 310$)
I would add to this list the below hotels:
8- Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace (Starting 180$)
9- Movenpick Hotel & Resort Beirut (Starting 224$)

Just an update, Phoenicia Hotel is no longer part of the “Intercontinental” chain
It is still part of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). They just did a rebranding and removed the InterContinental from the logo
Dear Hussam,
Kindly note that Phoenicia Hotel is still part of the IHG in general and an InterContinental Hotel in particular. We are one of the first luxury hotels in Beirut and it is well known that Phoenicia Hotel is a cornerstone in the InterContinental brand.
Just like Le Grande Paris, which is an InterCon as well, but they don’t have InterContinental in their logo or name, Phoenicia have re-branded the hotel into Phoenicia Beirut, under InterContinental Hotel.

Phoenicia is the biggest hotel in terms of area, but in terms of luxury level and quality of service, Four Seasons is first and by far. Four Seasons is in a different league then all other hotels in Beirut.
The price list makes me giggle; prices match those of hotels in NYC, Hawaii, Paris, London… what a rip off!
Sorry but prices of hotels in NYC, Hawaii, Paris, London for 5 star hotels are starting $500
Oh I see…. Thanks for clearing that up! 😀
